AHOSKIE – 2021 came in with the birth of twins at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital (VRCH) on New Year’s Day.

Jasmine L. Cross and RaKinne Powell, both of Ahoskie, welcomed a little girl, Kalani Powell at 9:17 a.m. and a little boy, Kace Powell, one minute later.

Dr. Madhu Parmar, OB-Gyn, Vidant Women’s Care – Ahoskie, was the attending physician.

The babies and their mom are doing well.

Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital and Women’s and Children’s Care Services are delighted to welcome the two little ones and wish them and their family all the best.
